The Wichita Country Club, once again, hosted the annual Kansas Heart Hospital charity golf tournament which supports the Sedgwick Division of the American Heart Association. The team of Shelley Pringle, Bruce Pringle, a long time Ascension - Via Christi community KHH board member, and Alex Duncan, spouse of ICU Manager Bea Duncan, captured first place honors with a record setting score of 57. This year eight flights of golfers comprising a total of thirty-two (32) players participated in the four-person scramble event. At the awards dinner, Shelley Pringle commented that “we just made one birdie after another and my husband, Bruce, made some unbelievable putts!”

Greg Duick MD thanked this years’ sponsors which included Intrust Bank NA, ISG, Merrill-Lynch and host, the Wichita Country Club. Additionally, Dr. Doug Milfeld was acknowledged for providing several vintage bottles of wine for the event. It may have been a late summer, warm and sultry day, but all participants commented that they looked forward to next year’s golf tournament.
