The event will feature several different areas and participants can move around to the areas that are of interest to you, at your own pace. Tracy Cassidy from B98 FM, Sedgwick County EMS and the Wichita Fire Department will all participate. The designated children’s area will feature treats and fun activities. Visitors will learn about cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults and children, “hands-only” CPR technique, the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and emergency treatment for adult and infant choking victims. Your blood pressure can be checked as well. Kansas Heart employees Nancy, RN and Shannon, RVT, cath lab tech worked at the event last year and stated, “It was a lot fun for us and the public really appreciated the information they received.” Check out pictures from the 2011 event by going to The Pulse/Photo Gallery/2011 CPR Event.
