The cafeteria and kitchen area at the Kansas Heart Hospital are getting an upgrade.
The specialty hospital, 3601 N. Webb Road, is spending $188,500 on remodeling, which includes upgrading fixtures, equipment and decor.
Joyce Heismeyer, chief operating officer for the hospital, says the project should start soon, but there still are some decisions being finalized, such as the equipment list.
She says the project is expected to be finished by midsummer. Service won’t be interrupted during the remodel.
Dondlinger & Sons Construction Co. Inc. is the general contractor.
