On Saturday, June 14, 2014, Kansas Heart Hospital employees, family members and friends participated in the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk at Wichita State University. Around 40 KHH team members joined thousands of others at the annual event sponsored by AHA. The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s national campaign to get America moving. The Heart Walk is a non-competitive walk that celebrates those who have made lifestyle changes and encourages many more to take the pledge to live healthier lifestyles while raising the dollars needed to fund life-saving research and education, advocate for health and save lives.

As a team, KHH raised funds on behalf of the American Heart Association through online donations in the amount of $980.00.  Another $935.00 was raised from basket raffle drawings.  All funds raised will be donated to AHA.
