NATIONAL HOSPITAL WEEK CELEBRATION AT KANSAS HEART
Posted In: Uncategorized
On a cool 57°, blustery day, Kansas Heart Hospital celebrated both its employees and national hospital week. At the suggestion of Paul Noel, Pharmacy Tech, Ben Hedges, long time manager of respiratory therapy at KHH, coordinated the afternoon and evening barbeque for the KHH hospital staff and medical staff at the Kansas Heart Office Plaza. Ben is an original employee of the hospital and recently received his fifteen year recognition award for outstanding professionalism and service to our patients, their families and his colleagues. His enthusiasm and contagious personality is a Kansas Heart trademark and a treasure to all folks he encounters.
Fellow managers and employees helped serve burgers, brats and hot dogs to an appreciative staff. Steve Smith, CFO, commented that “we really appreciate Ben’s effort in bringing his backyard barbecue to the KHH luncheon tent today and our managers who supported his efforts.” Photos from today’s event can be seen under “Photo-gallery.”
